This week Robin was inspired to make the pigsty into a useable working area. I’ve now got a workbench on three sides, with plenty of room to spread out, and ample space for future students to make. What a transformation; having north-facing windows along the length of the room makes for a really pleasant view up the garden. I’ve also been using the kiln back to back so it has also warmed up the building, which makes a huge difference to wanting to be in there making. Above are tea bowls and vertebra rings waiting for finishing touches before being delivered to London for a show next weekend. Prism presents Fragility at Hoxton Arches Gallery, Hoxton from 29 May to 9 June 2019.
