Fragility pt2

This October sees the second part of the show Fragility, originally seen in Hoxton Arches last June. This includes some new work at the wonderful RBSA gallery in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Organised by the international textile group Prism, this is the second time we’ve shown here, and it is a truly beautiful space, with welcoming staff and free onroad parking on Sundays! It is always a surprise to see how a work can change when it is hung in another environment. My Knuckledusters are far more up close and personal here. The nest of urns mourning the bird species fast heading to extinction such as puffins and snowy owls Funeral for a Species seems very at home here too in a more intimate setting.

Many thanks to Robin Shelton for expert hanging assistance on Sunday

Prism. Fragility pt 2 open from Tuesday 8th – Saturday 19th October 2019.
