Last November I took part in a wonderful show in Bridport organised by Marshwood Arts, and even received a ‘highly commended’ from Kate Malone for my ceramics. When lockdown began I was contacted to submit a video of my studio and images of new work. I’d not made one before but with help from Robin I put together a record of making the porcelain pipefish, pictured top left. Using video, I feel, gives a more honest record of an object when digital photographs can be so easily manipulated. Also, it can be fascinating to see where artists create their work.
