Slow down. Look at me and rest a while. Stroke, feel, gaze, dream. Look again … deeper. Know that all will be well. Collect what may be given. Treasure what is. See. The drip, the sheen, colours that meld and melt into each other. Textures that sooth and smooth, others that surprise and hurt.
Accept what is. God is in the detail – the imperfection, the mark of the maker. Allow what is and rest.
Monks carry a bowl at all times, to receive alms or food. Trusting in goodness, keeping it simple.
